Is the Pickleball Court Busy Right Now? Check Live Status Before You Drive
Players at the court report the wait, the open courts and how many people are there, with photos and a note. Here's how to check Live Status before you go, and how to post one.

You drive twenty minutes and find twelve paddles in the stack. Or it rained this morning and you have no idea whether the courts have dried. Most of the time, you only find out when you get there.
Live Status lets the players who are already there tell you.
What a report tells you
- Estimated wait: No Wait, ~5 min, ~10 min, ~15 min, or 25+ min.
- Open courts: how many are free right now.
- Players on site: roughly how many people are there.
- Photos: up to four, so you can see for yourself.
- A note for everything else: "Courts 1–4 still drying from the rain, 5–8 are good," or how the paddle rotation works today.
Why you can trust it
- It comes from people at the court. Before a report goes up, the app uses the phone's location to confirm it's at that court.
- You can see how fresh it is. Every report shows when it was posted, so you know whether "no wait" means now or this morning.
- Faces are blurred. Faces are automatically blurred before a photo is published.
How to check before you go
On the map, tap Live on the right-hand bar. Live Status Nearby lists the courts near you that someone has reported on in the last 24 hours, sorted by newest or nearest. A dot on the Live button means something new has come in near you.
You can also tap a court on the map: its card shows today's latest wait and player count, and the court's Live Status tab has the full reports.
Viewing Live Status is free for now.
How to post one
At the court, tap Play, then Live Status, or tap Add Live Status on the court's Live Status tab. The nearest court is filled in for you. Add a photo, pick the wait, open courts and players, write a note if there's something worth knowing, and tap Publish.
A report with at least one photo earns you 10 Tokens, up to three times a day at the same court, at least 20 minutes apart. When other players find your report helpful they can give it a thumbs-up, and you'll hear about it.
Be the first at your court
Live Status is only as good as the players who post it. If your court has no report today, you can be the first. The next person deciding whether to make the drive will thank you.
